In 1997, Professor Abdullah INCI was assigned to the head of Parasitology Department of Faculty of Veterinary
Medicine, Erciyes University. Prof. Inci continued to be head of the department until 2017.
Currently, Prof. Alparslan YILDIRIM is the head of the department.
The department has a total number of 6 academicians including 3 professors (Prof. Abdullah INCI, Prof. Alparslan
YILDIRIM, and Prof. Onder DUZLU), 2 Associate Professor (Assoc. Prof. Zuhal ONDER, Assoc. Prof. Arif CİL-
OGLU) and 1 research assistant (Res. Ass. Gamze YETISMIS).
