Until 2021, 17 master degree and 5 PhD students completed their education in the department.
Bacteriological, serological, mycological and molecular analyzes are carried out in the Microbiology Department,
and the basic equipment (Microscopes (Light Microscope, Stereo Microscope, Fluorescent Microscope), Oven
(Incubator and Sterilizer), Autoclave, Centrifuge, Vortex, Thermal Cycler, where these researches can be carried out
in the Department’s
Laboratory Device, Electrophoresis Device and Power Supply, Gel Imaging System, Biosafety Cabinet, Bain-Marie
Device, Micropipette Set, Deep Freezer (-20°C and -80°C), Distilled Water Device, Precision Balance etc.
Until 2021, 60 SCI publications, 33 BAP and 3 TUBITAK projects have been completed in the department.
Microbiology Department hosted 1 national congress.
