The Department of Internal Medicine started its activities in the fields of education, training, research and clinical
practice with the appointment of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yücel ÇAM in 1996 and Prof. Dr. Öznur ATALAY in 1998.
Afterwards, Prof. Dr. Vehbi GÜNEŞ, Prof. Dr. Ali Cesur ONMAZ, Prof. Dr. İhsan KELEŞ, Asst. Prof. Dr. İlknur
Karaca BEKDIK, Dr. Research Assistant Gencay EKİNCİ, Research.

Assistant Emre TÜFEKÇİ and Prof. Dr. Mehmet ÇİTİL were assigned to the department, and their duties in the
department are still continuing.
In undergraduate education, Cat and Dog Internal Diseases, Ruminant Internal Diseases, Equine Internal Diseases
courses are given by the Department. In addition, it also contributes to the teaching of Clinical Skills Laboratory
