Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology started its activities in the fields of education, training, research and
routine analysis in 1995 with the assignment of Prof. Dr. Tayfur BEKYÜREK. Afterward, Asst. Prof. Dr. Esra CA-
NOOĞLU, Dr. Mustafa ÜN, Asst. Prof. Dr. Murat ABAY, Prof. Dr. Kutlay GÜRBULAK, Prof. Dr. Yaşar AKAR
and Res. Asst. Yunus Emre ATAY were assigned to the department, respectively.

In the Veterinary Medicine education, Obstetrics and Gynecology-I and II are given as mandatory courses. Embryo
Transfer in Farm Animals, Veterinary Reproductive Homeopathy, Udder Health and Diseases, Use of Ultrasonog-
