10.3. Equine Club
The Equine Club was founded in May 2006 under the leadership and supervision of Prof. Dr. Osman KÜÇÜK,
Lecturer at Erciyes University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, and still continues its activities.
The aim of the Equine Club is to support the morale and personality development of university students through
social, cultural and sports activities, to ensure the formation of social awareness, to enable them to evaluate and
rest their free time, and to contribute to their academic development. The aim of the club in a more specific sense
is to make the horse popular with the veterinarian candidates and other faculty students, to increase the interest in
equestrian sports, especially horseback riding, and to mobilize social awareness about horses.
Equine Club since 2006; It carries out its activities with great participation with riding activities and social meet-
ings in private horse farms in Kayseri, trips to horse farms in the Cappadocia region, Nevşehir JAKEM visits, Sul-
tansuyu (Malatya-General Directorate of Agricultural Enterprises-TİGEM horse harası) visit and other activities.
