10.1.4. Excursions and Social Activities
On December 10, 2015, the “Aid to Street Animals” event was organized by the Vet-Bil Society and Kayseri Animal
Protection Association at ERÜVF for stray animals living on the streets. A large number of academicians, students
and animal lovers participated in the ceremony. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Çağrı Çağlar SİNMEZ and KAYHAKDER Board
Member Tülay Sicimoğlu emphasized in their speeches that people should be sensitive to animal rights and that
animals should not be “bought, they should be adopted”.
In the “Unity and Fusion Day”, it is aimed to create a festive atmosphere in the faculty by spending more intimate
time with each other of the students who are in the orientation process. In this context, the organization was com-
pleted on October 28, 2017 with the participation of 117 students.
On October 2, 2019, during the visit to the Mazakaland Zoo in Kayseri, a seminar was given by the veterinarians
responsible for the animals there and most wild animals had the opportunity to be seen.
On October 6, 2019, with the breakfast at the horse farm, the dialogue of the students with each other progressed,
and after the breakfast, everyone had the opportunity to ride the horse and had a fun time.
