VetEBA Congresses last for four days in total and during this time, presentations, meeting and entertainment
night, technical trip to Nevşehir JAKEM (Nevşehir Gendarmerie Horse and Dog Training Center Command)
Command, various professional practices, Cappadocia trip, gala night and presentation of participation certificates
and on the last day at Erciyes Ski Center, a Kayseri classic, sausage bread and skiing end with skiing.

I. National VetEBA Congress (2-5 March 2017)

The “I. National VetEBA (Veterinary Education, Science and Research) Congress”, where 115 students and 16
speakers from 10 different universities came together, started with the speeches of Congress President Serkan KÖK-
KAYA, ERU Student Council President, ERÜVF Dean and ERU Rector after the silence of respect and National
Anthem on Thursday, March 2, and continued with presentations.
During the Congress: “Ideal Project Idea Verification, Cost of Food Safety, Conscious Use of Antibiotics, Future
of Equine Medicine in TEVA Turkey, Orthopedics in Veterinary Surgery, Traumatology and Neurosurgery, Wild-
life Medicine in Our Country, Treatment in Birds of Prey, Preventive Medicine, Bee Products, Bovine Clinician
Medicine, Diabetes Mellitus and Treatment Process, Colic and Pain Management, Nazolacrimal Drainage, Ideal
Project Idea Verification Seminar, Small Livestock Problems in Turkey, The Science That Makes Utopia a Reality:
Stem Cells, Common Diseases in Cats and Dogs, Comparison of the Situation of Ear and Tail Cutting in Dogs
in Europe and Turkey in terms of Animal Welfare, Presentation of Colic and Pain Management - Nazolacrimal
Drainage Application, Common Diseases in Cats and Dogs”. The program ended with a trip to Goreme, a gala
night and a tour of Erciyes.

II. National VetEBA Congress (22-25 February 2018)

The “Second National VetEBA (Veterinary Education, Science and Research) Congress”, where 120 students and
17 speakers from 10 different universities came together, started on Thursday, February 22 with a moment of si-
lence and the National Anthem, followed by the opening speech of Congress President Serkan KÖKKAYA, ERU
Student Council President, ERÜVF Dean and ERU Vice Rector and continued with presentations.

During the Congress; “Veterinary Medicine, Entrepreneurship, Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation in the Private
Sector, Overview of Reproductive Animal Husbandry, Being Ready After Graduation, Clinician Veterinary Med-
icine, Ruminant Abdominal Ultrasonography, Time of Development and Change, Differences Between Human
and Animal Brains, Food, Where Do We Go Wrong?, Veterinary Homoepathy, The Year of Reducing Calf Mortal-
ity Rates (2018) Calf Care and Feeding Program for Veterinary Medicine, E Prescription in Veterinary Medicine,
New Concepts and New Employment Areas, Preventive Measures to Prevent Lamb and Calf Deaths, Egg Produc-
tion and Veterinary Medicine, Cadaveric Techniques from Past to Present”.

The event continued at Nevşehir JAKEM (Nevşehir Gendarmerie Horse and Dog Training Center Command)
Command. The program, which continued with a tour of the museum at JAKEM Command, information about
the horses and dogs raised and the demonstration of horses and dogs, ended with the gala night and Erciyes tour.

III. National VetEBA Congress (21-24 February 2019)

The “III. National VetEBA (Veterinary Education, Science and Research) Congress”, which brought together 157
students and 21 speakers from 12 different universities, started on Thursday, February 21 at ERÜVF Mehmet Akif
Ersoy Conference Hall with a moment of silence and National Anthem, followed by the opening speech of Con-
gress President Batuhan ŞAHİN, the speeches of ERÜVF Dean and ERU Rector and continued with presentations.
