On December 29, 2016, our national poet and colleague Mehmet Akif ERSOY was commemorated with the con-
ference organized by the Dean’s Office of ERÜVF. Within the scope of the commemoration week of Mehmet Akif
ERSOY, a conference on “The Migration of Science from East to West in the Historical Process” presented by Prof.
Dr. Hüseyin KARADAĞ, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Yüzüncü Yıl University, was held at Sabanci Culture
Site. Vice Rector Karamehmet YILDIZ, Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Prof. Dr. İhsan KELEŞ and
many academicians and students attended the conference.
On December 28, 2017, our national poet Mehmet Akif ERSOY was commemorated by the ERÜVF Dean’s
Office. Rector of Ankara Social Sciences University and President of the Writers’ Union of Turkey Prof. Dr. Musa
Kazım ARICAN, Dean of ERÜVF Prof. Dr. Abdullah İNCİ, Head of the Department of History of Veterinary
Medicine and Deontology and advisor of Vet-Bil Society Assoc. Prof. Dr. Çağrı Çağlar SİNMEZ, many academi-
cians and students attended the conference held within the scope of the commemoration week. At the conference,
Prof. Dr. Musa Kazım ARICAN made a presentation titled “Solutions to Today’s Problems from the Perspective of
Mehmet Akif Ersoy”.
On December 27, 2018, with the conference organized by the ERÜVF Dean’s Office, our national poet and col-
league Mehmet Akif Ersoy was commemorated on the 82nd anniversary of his death. Former Speaker of the Grand
National Assembly and Chairman of the Ethics Committee of Public Officials Köksal TOPTAN attended the
conference held at ERÜVF Mehmet Akif Ersoy Conference Hall as a speaker. Following the moment of silence and
the National Anthem, a musical recital composed of the works of Mehmet Akif Ersoy was presented. The speaker
of the program, Köksal TOPTAN, Former Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey and Chairman of
the Ethics Committee of Public Officials, talked about the life of our National Poet Mehmet Akif Ersoy and the
meaning of his works, especially the National Anthem. After his speech, the Parliament 23. ERU Rector Prof. Dr.
Mustafa ÇALIŞ, ERÜVF Dean Prof. Dr. Abdullah İNCİ and ERU Department of History of Veterinary Medicine
and Deontology Head and Vet-Bil Society consultant Assoc. Prof. Dr. Çağrı Çağlar SİNMEZ presented gifts to
Köksal TOPTAN, Term President and Chairman of the Ethics Committee of Public Officials. The program ended
after the “Mehmet Akif Ersoy Science Awards” were given to their owners.
On 12 March 2019, on the occasion of the 98th anniversary of the adoption of our National Anthem by ERÜVF
A conference on “Voice of the Nation Mehmet Akif Ersoy” was held. The event held at the Faculty of Veterinary
Medicine Conference Hall; Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Sıdkı İLKAY, Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medi-
cine Prof. Dr. Abdullah İNCİ and many academicians and students participated. The speaker of the conference was
Lecturer at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Çağrı Çağlar SİNMEZ gave a presentation on “A
Hero on the Road from Baytar School to Independence”.
On December 27, 2019, with the conference organized by the ERÜVF Dean’s Office, our national poet and col-
league Mehmet Akif Ersoy was commemorated on the 83rd anniversary of his death. Chief Advisor to the President
Yalçın TOPÇU, AK Party Bingöl Deputy Feyzi BERDİBEK, ERU Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa ÇALIŞ, ERÜVF Dean
Prof. Dr. Abdullah İNCİ and many academicians and students attended the commemoration program held at the
Mehmet Akif Ersoy Conference Hall of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. Following his speech, Chief Advisor to
the President Yalçın TOPÇU was presented with gifts by Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa ÇALIŞ, Dean of the Faculty of
Veterinary Medicine Prof. Dr. Abdullah İNCİ and Head of the Department of History of Veterinary Medicine and
Deontology Assoc. Prof. Dr. Çağrı Çağlar SİNMEZ. The program ended after the “Mehmet Akif Ersoy Science
Awards” were given to their owners. After the event, Chief Advisor to the President Yalçın TOPÇU, 22. Former
Bingöl Deputy and TGNA Administration Chief Feyzi BERDİBEK and Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa ÇALIŞ also
visited the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Training Research and Application Hospital and received information.
On March 12, 2020, a conference on “Acceptance of the National Anthem” was organized by ERÜVF on the occa-
sion of the 99th anniversary of the adoption of our National Anthem. The event, which was held at the Conference
Hall of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Prof.
