Dr. Abdullah İnci and many academicians and students. Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Prof. Dr. Ab-
dullah İnci, who made the opening speech of the event after the stand of respect and the National Anthem, thanked
the participants. Following Dean İnci’s speech, Faculty of Education Faculty Member Prof. Dr. Remzi Kılıç gave a
lecture on “Acceptance of the National Anthem”.
On December 27, 2021, our National Poet Mehmet Akif Ersoy was commemorated with a program organized by
ERÜVF on the 85th anniversary of his death. Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Recai Kılıç, Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary
Medicine Prof. Dr. Abdullah İnci, academicians and students attended the commemoration program held at the
Mehmet Akif Ersoy Conference Hall of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. Following the moment of silence and
the National Anthem, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Recai Kılıç thanked those who contributed to the organization of the
commemoration program in his speech. Following the opening speeches, a presentation was made by Prof. Dr. Ali
Cesur Onmaz, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, about the first 25-year development process
and achievements of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. The program ended after the conference on the Impact of
Veterinary Medicine on the Poetics and Intellectual Identity of Mehmet Akif Ersoy by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Çağrı Çağlar
Sinmez, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine.
