11.4. Traditional Dairy Run Activities

Within the scope of “World Milk Day Activities” in the last week of May or the first week of June of each year,
milk running is traditionally held in our faculty with the participation of all university students and academicians,
and then a milk panel is organized. The milk panel is held with three valuable academicians or field workers who
are experts in their fields and “global food safety problems”, “field experiences” and “current scientific data” are
discussed in the panel. The panel is usually organized in partnership with the Ministry of Agriculture and attracts
great attention. The panel ends with the presentation of awards to the top three and last place students.
