MISSION

The Department of Reproduction, Artificial insemination and Andrology is a discipline that deals with the topics such as reproductive physiology, endocrinology, cryobiology, reproduction and assisted reproductive technology with fertility, infertility and sterility in male and female animals.

The discipline has been teaching and researching the methods about improving the reproductive performance, diagnosis and treatment of reproductive problems in farm and domestic animals.

The scientific knowledge and practices in reproduction are transferred to the students of veterinary medicine.

VISION

• to follow the scientific researches in the field of reproduction,
• to introduce the reproductive biotechnologies in animal breeding and to ensure the application of these technologies, 
• to contribute to animal husbandry, 
• to teach up-to-date information about reproductive biotechnology to the students of the faculty of veterinary medicine
