Mehmet ÇAKIR from Niğde University was supported by our teachers. in 1999-2000 Bumin Emre TEKE worked
as a lecturer. Then, respectively, Prof. Dr. İ. Hakki NUR, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aydin ALAN and Assistant Prof. Dr. İm-
dat ORHAN was appointed to the department. Between 2011 and 2017 as a research assistant in the Department
of Anatomy, Dr. Lecturer Gonca KAMACI ÖZOCAK served for 7 years.
In undergraduate education, Anatomy I, II, Topographic Anatomy courses are given by the Department. In ad-
dition to the Skills Laboratory courses in Veterinary Faculty and Farm Animal Anatomy courses at the Faculty of
Agriculture of Erciyes University. Within the scope of Erciyes University use of experimental animals certifica-
tion program, laboratory animal anatomy courses are given by the department. Veterinary Anatomy Master›s and
Doctorate programs affiliated to Erciyes University Health Sciences Institute are carried out in the department.
Until 2021, 2 master’s and 2 doctorate students completed their postgraduate education in the department. In the
Department of Anatomy, researches on SEM, 3D anatomy, corrosion cast, latex injection, in vitro nano imaging
techniques, MR, tomography, simulation technologies are carried out. In the Laboratory of the Department, there
are dissection microscope, dissection table and sets, in vitro nano imaging systems, sterilization, image recording
systems, etc., as the basic equipment for these researches.

Until 2021, 33 SCI publications, 25 BAP and 3 TUBITAK projects have been completed in the department. De-
partment of Anatomy hosted 1 national congress.
