12.3. TÜBA-GEBİP (Outstanding Young Scientist) Award

TÜBA-GEBİP Awards, which are among the first examples of the formation of the “Young Academy” in the world
and have an exceptional position in our country, work in all fields of science, specializing in health sciences, and
a doctorate in other disciplines; Young scientists who work in Turkey or have decided to work in Turkey and have
not completed the age of 39 It is a program open to the application of people. In this context, our faculty member
Assoc. Dr. Aykut Gram was deemed worthy of the 2022 TÜBA-GEBİP award.

12.4. Scientific Identity Determination Exam

In 2017, our Faculty was given the authority and responsibility to conduct the “Scientific Identity Exam” by YÖK.
In this context, the “Diploma Equivalence Commission” was established with the participation of the department
heads with the appointment made. This commission conducts the “Scientific Identity Exams” by examining the
diplomas and attached documents of the candidates who apply to YÖK for diploma equivalence and by applying
the necessary procedures. To date, there have been a total of 127 applications to the commission. According to the
reports of the Commission, the necessary actions have been taken.

12.5. Presidents of the Student Council of the University

Çağrı Çağlar SİNMEZ, one of the students of ERÜVF, served as ERU Student Council President and Co-Chair
of the Student Council of Turkish Universities between 2005-2006, and Berat DENİZ served as ERU Student
Council President between 2014-2019.
