5. GRADUATE EDUCATION IN VETERINARY

MEDICINE

ERU Health Sciences Institute (ERUSBE) was established on 20.07.1982 under the Rectorate and started its ac-
tivities in the 1982-1983 academic year. 11

From 2001, when he graduated from the first veterinary program within ERÜSBE, until 2020, 49 people, 20
female and 29 male, graduated from doctoral programs (Table). 263 people graduated from master’s programs, of
which 80 were women and 183 were men. In this process, a total of 312 students graduated from the programs,
including 100 women (32%) and 212 (68%) men. Currently, 39 female and 76 male students continue their
doctorate education, and 78 female 171 male students continue their graduate education at the Institute. Within

the scope of the 100/2000 program initiated by YÖK, 13 doctoral students continue their education at ERUVF.
